Plasmonic Quantum Dots for Nonlinear Optical Applications

Abstract

This presentation describes the design of novel plasmonic quantum dots for nonlinear applications, including labels for TPAF-based biomedical imaging, with projected fluorescence intensities >1000X higher than currently-used fluorescent labels.
