Characterization of nonlinear optical properties of periodically poled MgO:LiNbO3 crystal and generation of squeezed states of light at 860nm

Abstract

We achieved 128mW of oscillation threshold of an optical parametric oscillator with a periodically poled MgO:LiNbO3 crystal and generated squeezed states of light whose squeezing level was -6.24 ±0.11dB at the pump power of 80mW.
