Abstract

The two-photon and excited-state absorption cross sections of a derivative of 5,5'-bis(diphenylphosphino)-2,2'-bithiophene have been measured at 430-nm wavelength using open-aperture Z scans employing 27-ps and 5-ns pulses at multiple pulse energies.
