Abstract

Nd:LiNbO3 self-frequency-doubling waveguide laser is demonstrated for the first time. A domain-inverted grating was fabricated for quasi-phase-matched second-harmonic generation in a Nd:LiNbO3 waveguide laser cavity, and second-harmonic green light was obtained.
