Angle-resonant stimulated polariton scattering in semiconductor microcavities

Abstract

We demonstrate a new resonant parametric coupling between photons and excitons in microcavities which can efficiently generate enormous single-pass optical gains approaching 100. Ultrafast stimulated scattering is clearly identified.
