Abstract

We report all-optical regeneration in chalcogenide glass (As2S3) waveguides integrated with Bragg gratings, demonstrating nonlinear power transfer functions with 1ps to 2ps optical pulses. We investigate several different grating structures and study the dependence of the nonlinear power transfer function on the grating design.
