Localized excitations of low dimensional Bose Einstein condensates in optical lattices

Abstract

Existence of localized states of lD NLS equation with quintic nonlinearity and optical lattices is investigated. Optical lattices prevent collapse in attractive case and lead to existence of bright soliton for the repulsive case.
