Broadband, single mode, visible continuum generation in normally dispersive fiber

Abstract

A dual wavelength pumping scheme is proposed to efficiently suppress cascaded Raman scattering in normally dispersive region. The scheme is applied to the generation of a truly single mode continuum extended from 350 to 750nm.
