Phase-matching in cascaded third-order frequency mixing

Abstract

We present the first observation of cascaded nonlinear frequency generation into the deep-UV at 200 and 160nm using electronic nonlinearities. We also present calculations that accurately predict the observed novel phase-matching and propagation effects.
