Abstract

We demonstrate a robust OTDM demultiplexer comprising a LiNbO3 amplitude modulator and a dispersion imbalanced fibre loop mirror (DILM). Nonlinear response of the DILM allows successful demultiplexing in spite of the relatively low modulator speed.
