Optical rectification of picosecond-pulses in a planar slab waveguide

Abstract

The rectified field of optical pic second-pulses in a planar two-dimensional geometry is investigated analytically by calculating the convolution of the temporal and one-dimensional spatial profile with an appropriate Green’s function.
