Reflection and capture of χ(2) spatial solitons by nonlinear interface.

Abstract

Within the quasi-particle approach we studied the problem on the reflection of quadratic spatial solitons from an interface between two chi-2 media with slightly different properties. The possibility of the soliton capture by an interface associated with nonlinear surface wave excitation is shown.
