Ultrashort pulse propagation through 2-D, high contrast AlGaAs photonic crystal waveguides

Abstract

The transmission spectrum of AlGaAs waveguides with a 2D air hole array was acquired using spectrally broad 100 fs pulses. Increased input power caused spectral narrowing of pulses with no photonic crystal transmission spectrum changes.
