Transverse distribution of quantum fluctuations and correlations in a spatial soliton

Abstract

We study the spatial distribution of quantum fluctuations in spatial solitons and show that the quantum noise reduction is “focused” in the center of the soliton, and that strong quantum correlations develop between different areas.
