Abstract

It is well known that propagation of (l+l)-dimensional dark soliton stripes in self-defocusing media suffer from transverse instabilities that can lead to the formation of optical vortices. These dark spatial solitons in (2+1) dimensions, has been shown that are stable structures [1, 2].
