Subpicosecond oscillation of synchronously pumped LiF:F2_ color center laser

Abstract

The oscillation of LiF:F2 color center crystals tunable in near IR spectral region from 1.08 to 1.29μm has been extensively studied since 1985 [1-3]. Recently it was shown that very efficient quasi continuous oscillation of this laser is also available [4].
