Inter channel crosstalk impairment of WDM-PON long reach application with large differential path loss

Abstract

Inter-channel crosstalk limit is studied for the WDM-PON application with large differential path loss. A method to overcome the limit is also proposed by controlling ONT transmit power based on received signal power.
