Self-Coherent Differential Phase Detection for Optical Physical-Layer Secure Communications

Abstract

We demonstrate a polarization independent receiver suitable for self-coherent M-ary phase-shift keyed signals. The receiver measures a M-PSK signal from a quantum noise randomized encryption system and decrypts it to binary format.
