Multiformat Wavelength Swapping in Periodically Poled Lithium Niobate Waveguide

Abstract

Multiformat wavelength swapping is demonstrated. The operation is achieved at packet level through second order nonlinearities in PPLN waveguide. The experimental validation is provided by BER measurements using 40Gb/s DQPSK and 10Gb/s OOK signals.
