Frame-level OEO-Regenerating GPON Reach Extender

Abstract

We propose and experimentally demonstrate a frame-level OEO-regeneration technique for GPON reach extension which overcomes the limitations of bit-level OEO-regeneration with respect to upstream efficiency and transparency.
