Experimental Demonstration of a Nonlinear Effects Crosstalk Minimization Algorithm

Abstract

A nonlinear crosstalk minimization algorithm that simultaneously considers SPM, XPM and FWM is presented and experimentally assessed. For a PON worst-case scenario a 1dB power gain is obtained for a BER of 10−9.
