A High Capacity and Long Reach DWDM-PON Using Triple-Contact F-P LDs

Abstract

We propose a color-free DWDM-PON at 50 GHz channel spacing by using the triple contact F-P LD. The transmission length of 30 km and 90 km are demonstrated with and without FEC at 1.25 Gb/s-per-channel.
