Abstract

Field trial of 160 (16λ × 10) Gbit/s, fine granularity, colored-optical-packet switching network with >87km transmission using a novel transient-response-suppressed EDFA, multiple all-optical-label-processor, arrayed burst-mode Tx./Rx., and IP/optical-packet converter is demonstrated for the first time.
