Flexible Capacity Assignment in a Multiwavelength Radio Over Fiber Access Network

Abstract

We present a novel architecture for radio-over-fiber access networks providing flexible capacity assignement. In a multiwavelength optical fiber network, a foldback AWG incorporating an optical switch enables an experimental demonstration of dynamically allocated multiservice capacity.
