Abstract

With the introduction of analog signals over a Passive Optical Network (PON), the issue arises as to how to cost-effectively deploy the PON system and still meet the high-quality signal requirements at the ONT. This paper demonstrates that in order to ensure the highest quality signal, APC connectors are highly recommended to lessen the potential impact of reflections on the video overlay.
