Metamaterial Nanocircuits in Optics

Abstract

Using the properties of metamaterials, we develop the concept of optical “lumped” nanocircuit elements, such as nanoinductors, nanocapacitors, and nanoresistors at optical wavelengths, and we extend this idea to more complex circuits forming near-field nanoelectronics.
