Abstract

Phase regeneration of phase-shift keying signals is theoretically proposed for the first time based on the efficient optical parametric amplification process in a highly-nonlinear symmetric hybrid plasmonic waveguide with nonlinear polymer as the active material. Phase recovery process within a length as short as 150 micrometers was achieved in this waveguide.
