Fabrication and Photoelechemical Performance of Nb2O5 Nanobelts

Open Access Open Access

Abstract

Self-organized Nb2O5 nanobelts are fabricated by a hydrothermal reaction, protonation and annealing. The ultra-violet detector of individual Nb2O5 nanobelt shows high light selectivity and quantum-efficiency. Ag-Nb2O5 heterojunction synthesized via AgNO3 solution immersion and UV illumination exhibits enhanced photocatalytic activity and perfect antibacterial performance.
