Biofilm thickness sensor based on non-uniform etched fiber Bragg grating

Abstract

A non-uniform etched fiber Bragg grating was realized for online measurements of biofilm thickness and temperature. The resolution of the biofilm thickness and temperature of the sensor is 15.36±0.85 μm, and temperature variation 0.12°C.
