An Approach to Improve Temporal Response of Single Photon Avalanche Photodiode for Time-resolved Diffuse Optical Tomography (DOT)

Abstract

A proposed approach of single photon avalanche photodiode based time-resolved DOT is introduced. It is supported by mathematical model of dark count rate as a function of gating voltage to further improve the DOT features
