Abstract

We generate ~8.5 μm, ~2 μJ femtosecond pulses via intrapulse DFG of 26 fs, 2.1 μm pulses in a type-II AgGaSe2 crystal with ~1% efficiency. Intrinsically CEP-stable pulses cover the wavelengths of ~7–11 μm.
