Narrow-Linewidth Picosecond Optical Parametric Oscillator for Backscatter Absorption Gas Imaging

Abstract

A picosecond OPO combining an aperiodically-poled nonlinear crystal and a chirped VBG is used for backscatter absorption gas imaging of N2O at atmospheric pressure. The tunability is 215 nm around 3.82 µm in 130 ms.
