Angle-tuned quasi-phase-matched mid-infrared optical parametric oscillator

Abstract

We report the first room-temperature picosecond OPO based on MgO:PPLN partial cylinder, providing broad and continuous tuning in the near- to mid-IR with >4 W total average power, excellent output stability, and high beam quality.
