Wavelength-flexible Kerr Frequency Comb Generation Covering a 2000-nm Bandwidth in Mid-Infrared

Abstract

We propose dispersion-flattened chalcogenide waveguides and microresonator for mid-infrared Kerr frequency comb generation. Coherent mode-locked comb lines can be effectively generated over a bandwidth of more than 2000 nm.
