Abstract

Frequency conversion in monolithic AlGaAs Bragg waveguides using χ(2)nonlinearities produced DFG between 7700 - 8300 nm via 20 nm tuning of a 1550 nm fiber laser pump. Phase-matching and tunability achieved through dispersion engineering.
