Loading Babinet Optical Nanoantennas with Nanocircuit Elements

Abstract

The concepts of antenna loading are applied to Babinet optical nanoantennas obtained by carving thin plasmonic screens. We show how the radiation properties may be tailored by properly selecting the nanocircuit elements loading the aperture.
