Engineering the dielectric function of subwavelength Aperture arrays

Abstract

We experimentally measure the complete complex dielectric response of plasmonic lattices at terahertz frequencies, and demonstrate that it is significantly different from bulk metals. We further demonstrate the ability to arbitrarily engineer this dielectric response.
