Squeezing and Bending an Image through a Subwavelength Hole

Abstract

Exploiting epsilon-near-zero (ENZ)-based tunneling, we show how a complex image may be transported through a tiny subwavelength hole with negligible amplitude and phase distortion. ENZ materials can overcome the effect of diffraction at small apertures.
