Abstract

The metamaterials resonant response significantly enhances THz-wave/material interaction. We demonstrated real-time switchable THz metamaterial via external voltage bias to modify the metamaterial capacitive elements, thereby achieved effective control and manipulation of freely propagating terahertz waves.
