Abstract

Theoretical and experimental works was carried out on terahertz metamaterial bandstop and bandpass filters, respectively. The former filter comprising an array of identical subwavelength resonators, and the latter one is a bilayer fish-scale metamaterial (BFM), whose measured 3 dB-bandwidth for normal incidence is 1.13 THz with a high transmittance.
