Performance-Scaling Concepts for Ultrafast Fiber Amplifiers

Abstract

We present our latest experimental results of ultrafast fiber amplifiers reaching multi-GW peak powers and average powers close the kW-level. Additionally, we describe two concepts of coherent combining ultrashort pulses (temporal and spatial stacking), which will enable unseen laser parameters in the near future.
