Abstract

A real spark-plug-size micro-laser with ignitable, three-beam output was demonstrated. Laser pulses with an energy of 3.2mJ and a duration of 500ps were emitted from a composite, all-ceramics Nd:YAG/Cr:YAG monolithic laser cavity.
