Spaceborne Fiber Lasers For Ranging Applications

Abstract

We report on recent developments of radiation- tolerant pulsed fiber-lasers for space-borne ranging. They generate 6kW peak power and have been tested in relevant environments. Divergence variation of a high precision collimator is also reported.
