Ho:YAG single-crystal fiber amplifier

Abstract

We study the amplification properties of Ho:YAG SCF grown by µ-PD technique. Output power of 8 W is achieved with 1 W seed, corresponding to a gain of 8 and a slope efficiency of 46.3%.
