High-power laser transmitters for LADAR applications

Open Access Open Access

Abstract

We review architectures for high-power LADAR transmitters relying on fiber and hybrid fiber/bulk waveguide lasers. Multi-mJ/MW pulse energies/peak-powers are demonstrated in combination with good spatial/spectral beam quality and average output powers > 100 W.
