Comb-calibrated FMCW LADAR for Ranging and Imaging

Abstract

We present a scanning imaging system based on a frequency-comb calibrated FMCW LADAR and real-time digital processing. 3D images of diffusely scattering objects are obtained at 10.5 m stand-off with precision below 10 μm, limited by fundamental speckle-noise.
