Optical Aperture Synthesis and Compressive Sensing

Abstract

Optical aperture synthesis enables an increase in resolution beyond the platform constrained aperture requirements. The sparsity of the typical recovered images enables the application of compressive sensing techniques to reduce computational and storage requirements.
