Synchronously Pumped Optical Parametric Oscillator with an Intracavity Graphene Saturable Absorber

Abstract

We report on the first experimental investigation of a picosecond synchronously pumped optical parametric oscillator with an intracavity ultrafast graphene saturable absorber. A pulse duration compression ratio up to 2.9 is observed.
