Terahertz pulse-induced melting of charge density wave through the coherent excitation of amplitude mode in 3R-Ta1+xSe2

Abstract

We investigated the nonlinear dynamics of the amplitude mode of the charge density wave in 3R-Ta1+xSe2. Intense terahertz pulse excites the amplitude mode with the an harmonic coupling regime and suppresses the charge density wave order.
