Determination of the Spectral Phase of Femtosecond Pulses based on Frequency-to-Time mapping

Abstract

A novel self-referencing technique to measure the spectral phase of pulses is developed. We have implemented the technique through sum-frequency generation and have experimentally demonstrated the direct spectral phase measurement.
